What is IGF-1?
IGF-1 stands for Insulin-like Growth Factor-1, which is a natural hormone that is created in the body and has strong interactions with Human Growth Hormone (HGH). While it is naturally created in the body to regulate how our bodies grow, it can be increased through supplementation. It is occasionally used to supplement people who have reduced amounts of IGF-1 in the body.
Does your body stop producing Growth Factor-1 when taking Deer Velvet supplements?
This is why it's very important that you purchase pure liquid deer velvet. Taking synthetic deer velvet, which we do not sell, can result in the body not creating its own natural growth factors.
What is the Deer Antler Velvet harvesting process?
Our deer roam freely, under veterinary supervision, on our farm in Idaho. They are never harmed in the process and, to be honest, we're quite jealous of their happy, easygoing lifestyle. To summarize the
harvesting process, it takes place 50-55 days after the casting of the previous set of hard antlers. This is when the antlers reach a decent size, but have not yet started to calcify. Is Antler Velvet an illegal, or banned substance?
No. Deer antler velvet (or DAV) is not illegal and is not banned in any sport. There have been many questions about DAV's use because it can increase the levels of IGF-1 in the body. So, while it can give you an edge in competition, it is completely legal and is not banned in any sport. It was very controversial when Ray Lewis used Deer Antler Velvet to heal a torn tricep injury before the Super Bowl, but the
supplement is not banned.
What is the best form (velvet spray, liquid or capsule) to take Deer Antler Velvet?
The best, and only form of Deer Antler Velvet that works, is taking it in liquid form. That is why we do not offer our product in capsules or sprays. Liquid formulas of Deer Antler Velvet are the only type of formula that have a high absorption rate. Many supplement companies choose to sell their DAV formula in capsule form. While it may be more convenient to take, capsule formulas are much less potent than liquids and would need to be in much higher doses to be anywhere near as effective as liquid DAV. The absorption rate of liquid is much greater than capsules as well. The concentrated liquid formula will give you far better results than any spray or capsule ever could.

How and when should I take the DAV Supplement?
The Pure Velvet supplement should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach. The liquid should be dispensed under the tongue and held in the mouth for 45 to 80 seconds.

Why do you only offer Deer Antler Velvet? And why only liquid?
There are few supplements we have tried, found results, and believe in. Deer Antler Velvet is our favorite one. The effects we have witnessed have been amazing. The only other's we feel have worked (for
different things) are Caffeine, Whey Protein, and Nitric Oxide. There are already quality products for those supplements. We found the need to manage the process from Farm to Bottle for Deer Antler Velvet. We could probably sell other supplements but we only want to sell what we can stand behind.
Can you buy Antler Velvet Supplements on Amazon?
In short, no. Retailers are not allowed to sell actual antler velvet extract on Amazon. There are currently brands selling fake antler extract, but Amazon does not allow brands to sell actual antler velvet.
